Salem Baptist Church Neighborhood Clinic
As part of their Neighborhood Clinics effort, the Health Equity Task Force helps neighborhood partners like Salem Baptist Church host vaccine and testing events at their location at consistent and convenient times. JUNTOS at Soccer Nation
In the spring of 2022, JUNTOS Center for Advancing Latino Health worked with Soccer Nation in KCK to host a youth soccer clinic that promoted childhood vaccinations. In the video, representatives from the Mexican Consulate also attended to congratulate the youth on their participation.
Miracle on Quindaro
In early 2020, Miracle Temple COGIC hosted a conference where many people got sick from what was then a new disease called COVID-19. That same location is now a regular Neighborhood Clinic where residents in Northeast KCK can have access to vaccinations, testing, and food drives.
Distributing at-home COVID-19 tests
Vibrant Health worked with the Health Equity Task Force and community partners to distribute QuickVue at-home COVID-19 tests.
