On July 23, 2022, the COPE team paid for residents to get their laundry washed while engaging them about their needs. COPE stands for Communities Organizing to Promote Equity. The team includes community health workers and residents working in partnership with the Community Health Council of Wyandotte County, WYCO Mutual Aid, and with support from a CDC Grant through KU Med.
